- Total Vacancies: 537 apprentice posts across the Pipelines Division.
What is the application start and end date?
- Start Date: August 29, 2025
- End Date: September 18, 2025 (11:59 PM IST)
What is the age limit to apply?
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years as of August 31, 2025
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC (NCL): +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years (+ additional for SC/ST/OBC as applicable)
What are the educational qualifications required?
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines
- Trade Apprentice: Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines or any degree (as per trade)
- Data Entry Operator: 12th pass (with skill certificate if required)
- Candidates with higher professional qualifications (B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA, etc.) are not eligible.
Is there an application fee?
- No. The application is completely free for all candidates.
How will the selection be done?
- Merit-based selection based on marks/percentage in the qualifying examination.
- No written exam or interview.
What is the stipend for apprentices?
- Trade Apprentice: ₹7,000 – ₹9,000 per month
- Technician Apprentice: ₹8,000 per month
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹9,000 per month
- Paid as per Apprentices Act 1961/1973; some part may be paid via DBT by BOAT.
How to apply?
- Step 1: Register on NAPS (Trade) or NATS (Technician/Graduate).
- Step 2: Apply on IOCL Pipelines Portal with all documents.
Which documents are required?
- Passport-size photograph
- Signature
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Educational certificates/mark sheets
- Caste/PwBD/EWS certificate (if applicable)
Can final year students apply?
- No. Only candidates whose results are declared by August 31, 2025 are eligible.
How will the merit list be prepared?
- Based on percentage of marks in qualifying exams.
- Tie-breaking criteria: higher matriculation percentage, then age (older candidates preferred).
Will IOCL provide accommodation or HRA?
- No. Apprentices are not provided HRA or company accommodation.
